We are currently seeking qualified candidates for an exceptional opportunity as a Mechanical E.I.T. / Engineer for our MEP Division. The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record of designing and troubleshooting mechanical systems.

Candidate Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in architectural or mechanical engineering from an Accredited University
• A minimum of 2 years work experience with an MEP engineering firm.
• The candidate must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
• High level understanding of HVAC.
• Proficient in performing HVAC calculations
• Understanding of plumbing and building automation controls preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Revit.
• Ability to interact with senior management, external client organizations and vendors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Participation in professional organizations preferred.

Candidate Responsibilities

As a Mechanical E.I.T. / Engineer, responsibilities include:

• Manage and execute assignments.
• Perform field verification.
• Prepare conceptual designs gathered from Client’s program requirements.
• Perform engineering calculations
• Prepare engineered plans and technical reports / specifications.
• Represent the company in project meetings.
• Review and approve equipment materials, submittals, and shop drawings in a timely manner. Respond to contractor requests for information (RFIs) in a timely manner.
• Perform construction observation and final punch visits.

All the above responsibilities will be completed under the supervision of a Project Manager/Principal.
